Mia Menendez is a Digital Health Summer Intern at Direct Recruiters Inc. (DRI), where she is focused on building a deep understanding of the digital healthcare industry, developing professional business skills, and learning from experienced professionals across the organization. As a current student in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, Mia is eager to explore different areas of business, expand her professional network, and contribute meaningfully to DRI’s mission.

Prior to joining DRI, Mia gained valuable leadership and communication experience working for her local park district as a tennis coach. She has also dedicated significant time to volunteer work with the Girls on the Run nonprofit organization and the Home2Home Project, where she strengthened her interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills while making a positive impact in her community.

Originally from Western Springs, a suburb of Chicago, Mia enjoys running, playing tennis, attending concerts, grabbing ice cream with friends, and spending time with her family. She is also a proud dog owner to her seven-year-old Goldendoodle, Kirby, and a devoted fan of the Indiana Fever.
