Kayla Musso

Kayla Musso is the Operations Assistant for the Digital Health & Employer Technology practice at DRI, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Her work behind the scenes allows the recruiting team to stay focused on connecting top talent with leading organizations. From managing candidate and client records to coordinating interviews, streamlining onboarding, and maintaining internal processes, Kayla brings structure, clarity, and momentum to every aspect of her role.

Before transitioning into operations, Kayla spent seven years as an elementary school teacher, working with students in grades 1 through 3 across both private and public school systems. Her classroom experience honed her organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities, qualities she now applies in a fast-paced business environment. Her background in education continues to inform her approach to problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration.

Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from John Carroll University, where she was also a student-athlete on the varsity volleyball team. Balancing academics with collegiate sports instilled in her a strong sense of discipline, time management, and perseverance, traits that continue to shape her professional success.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs. She stays active by playing pickleball and volleyball, and she loves experimenting in the kitchen, whether cooking a new dish or baking something sweet.
