Proposal Engineer – Automation

Join a fast-growing automation group responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for robotic manufacturing systems. This role combines technical writing, estimating and engineering knowledge to turn automation concepts into clear, professional customer proposals.

• Develop proposals and cost budgets for robotic automation projects
• Compile equipment, engineering, labor, tooling and installation costs
• Create detailed scopes of supply, assumptions, exclusions and project documentation
• Perform margin, markup, ROI and payback calculations
• Work extensively with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Sales throughout the quotation process
