Megan Motherwell joins the Direct Recruiters team as an Executive Recruiter for the Healthcare Technology sector. Megan is fast, thorough, and organized to ensure she provides the best client and candidate experience. She is unabashedly on the quest for answers and will exhaust all possible options before throwing in the towel. Megan is all about grit, hustle, and follow-through.

Prior to joining DRI, Megan was a Senior Talent Advisor at CloserIQ, an agency recruiting firm. While in this role, she focused on scaling sales teams (BDR/SDR, SMB-ENT AE’s, Sales Managers, VP of Sales, AM/CSM) for hypergrowth startups (Seed-Series D) in all verticals ranging from Health Tech, HR Tech, Mar Tech, Ed Tech, Cybersecurity, Fin Tech, ML/AI, Big Data, etc. Before that, she held a position as an Implementation Manager at a Series A Health tech startup, PatientPop (now merged with Kareo and called Tebra). She also has PTA experience in inpatient acute care and post-acute home health settings. Megan has a BS in Health Services and an AS in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Francis. 

Outside of work, Megan keeps a busy schedule! On Tuesdays, you can find her and her husband at a local outdoor place that has live music and food trucks. On Wednesdays, she plays sand volleyball. Thursday is for baseball games and dollar beer night. On the weekends, you can find Megan out to eat with family and friends, walking her Tibetan Mastiff, kayaking, or at the lake. Megan loves spending time in Marina del Rey, CA, her previous home before moving back to Indiana. She loves the flexibility of her job because it gives her the opportunity to visit friends, the beach, or mountains.
