James Maxwell joins the Direct Recruiters, Inc. team as a Researcher for the Industrial sector. He supports the recruiters, practice leaders and partners in identifying the best possible matches between clients and candidates. He uses his valuable research, and sourcing skills to find top talent from leading organizations.

James has a background in quantitative and qualitative research, having been trained as an analytical and applied linguist prior to joining the DRI team. James has a MA in Linguistics from Ohio University. He previously worked as a researcher for Ohio University and as a tutor before making the transition to the recruiting world.

In his spare time, James enjoys reading fiction and scientific research, writing, and cooking.
