Erin Shepard joins Direct Recruiters, Inc as an Executive Recruiter specializing in Government Technology. Erin, and the rest of her team, led by Ryan Lange, recruit for companies that sell technology into Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, State & Local Government, Federal (DoD & Civilian), Education, Transportation/Transit, Ports & Utilities. By quickly building relationships with candidates, Erin uncovers what truly motivates them to help propel them forward in their career.

Erin started her career with a large manufacturing company as a Sales Engineer while living in Denver, CO and Chicago, IL. She then transitioned into the medical device world as an account manager for the top hospitals in Cleveland and most recently in Human Capital Management. After working in several different industries, Erin was able to gain insight into working in a technical industry and with people of completely different backgrounds and levels of leadership.  She brings those skills with her to quickly adapt to the recruiting world. Erin has a BA in Marketing and Sales.

Erin Shepard is fortunate to have both a mentor and mother in our very own, Cherie Shepard. She says, “After seeing my mom’s career evolve as a recruiter to a managing partner with DRI, I knew I wanted to take the next step in my career to follow in her footsteps and ultimately emulate her success.”

Outside of her work for DRI, Erin loves to spend time with her family and friends, cuddle with her fur babies Doug and Louie, binge watch a good TV show and explore new restaurants around Cleveland.
