Amy Bogart joined Direct Recruiters as Healthcare IT Project Manager, and was promoted to Principal Recruiter in 2024. Working closely with Managing Partner, Mike Silverstein and team, she provides executive search, staffing, contingency and retained search to Healthcare IT industry organizations. Amy focuses on building strong relationships and rapport. Her interpersonal skills come into play at Direct Recruiters with both clients and coworkers.
Amy has worked in sales and marketing for about 10 years prior to joining the DRI team. She most recently worked in client services focusing in B2B and Healthcare, forming both rock-solid relationships and project strategies. Her years in marketing taught her to be flexible, communicative, adaptable, hard-working in a fast-paced environment, and of course, how to have fun along the way.
Amy graduated from Ohio University’s Scripps College of Communication, with a focus on Media Studies. She was involved with the video production student organization (Athens Video Works) during her time there, by writing, acting and casting on various programs to be aired on public access.
Her hobbies outside of work include taking care of her ever-expanding house plant collection, hiking, yoga, reading, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new music to listen to. Amy enjoys getting involved with Relay for Life as well as Race for the Place (The Gathering Place’s annual fundraiser). She is happy to pitch in her efforts wherever she can for these great events for great causes.
