What’s it Like to Work at DRI?
Direct Recruiters, Inc. (DRI) seeks out the highest quality workforce by ensuring that we only focus on hiring the most talented and well-rounded top performers.
Our culture is made up of individuals who exemplify our core values each day. The employees here are respectfully tenacious, they are team players that act for the greater good, they positively impact others, and they are solutions oriented. When starting at DRI, you will be welcomed to a team of teams that focuses not only on providing excellent customized solutions to clients, but also giving you the mentorship, support, training, and tools you need to be successful.
At DRI, we take the time and effort to add the right people who have a mutual desire to be part of the company, fit into the culture, and have the ability to achieve sustained success.
Since 1983, Direct Recruiters, Inc. has been recognized as the relationship-focused search firm that assists top-tier organizations with identifying, recruiting, acquiring and retaining high-impact talent for mission critical positions. As one of the largest search firms underneath one roof in the US, we provide customized human capital solutions to our business partners through multiple levels of service and our 5-phase process.
No Revolving Door
DRI’s retention of employees is backed by tenures of top employees being 5, 10, 15 and even 20+ years. We have a low turnover rate because we are very careful about who we hire. We look for innovators with high energy…train them well, develop their talents, and promote them rapidly. We also look for those who fit our company culture… we’re serious about our work but keep it fun and interesting everyday. In addition, we empower our people to take risks and make mistakes. Bottom line is that new ideas keep us moving forward and top performers get rewarded!
Emphasize Technology & Training
At DRI, we understand that to be considered an industry leader, a company requires leading- edge technology. That’s why we continually make significant investments in technology and ourselves. We have mastered using technology platforms and social media by training our staff to utilize PCRecruiter, Daxtra, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter among others.
Our commitment to quality and being the best is evident by our on-going recruitment training programs. Your first day of training at DRI begins on your first day of work. Your last day of training is the day you separate yourself from our firm. We consider ourselves as part of a “practice” much like that of a lawyer or physician. In other words, we continually study our business and markets in order to learn the latest, continue our professional growth, and surpass the competition.
We’re Award Winning
DRI is known as one of the best places to work in Northeast Ohio. We’ve been recognized with the following awards: Inc. 5000, Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces, NorthCoast 99, Fastest Growing US Staffing Firms, Weatherhead 100, Top Workplaces by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Crain’s 52 Fastest-Growing Companies, and Best Places to Work in Ohio. We’re Passionate & Fun
To sum it up, we are passionate about what we do and that makes it fun to come to work everyday. This passion has helped us become a leading executive search firm; not only by attracting the best candidates for our clients but the best employees for our company.
We Have a “Women in Business” Group
We’re sensitive to the challenges career women face in business. That’s why we created a “Women in Business” Group for the DRI female professionals. They get together each month to discuss various timely topics.
We’re Involved in our Community.
Every year we participate in the “Race for the Place” 5k in support of The Gathering Place. A 5K and 1 Mile is held annually on the first Sunday in June because it is National Cancer Survivors Day.
Another charity that we work with is the Leprechaun Foundation of Cleveland, which fills toy chests in Cleveland area hospitals for children who are in treatment for serious medical conditions. This year, our team at DRI was able to fill 3 large boxes with a variety of toys, games, and crafts for ages 17 and under.
