Deborah Santos joins Direct Recruiters as a Recruiter for the Material Handling, Packaging, and Processing team. With a strong background in talent acquisition, she specializes in connecting top-tier professionals with leading companies, ensuring the perfect fit for both candidates and clients. Passionate about delivering results, Deborah brings a strategic and relationship-driven approach to recruiting, leveraging her expertise in technical and executive search.

Before joining DRI, Deborah built an extensive career in becoming a senior in recruitment, with about a decade of experience placing software developers, QA engineers, sales and other professionals in multiple industries across the board. In addition to her recruiting expertise, she has worked in various administrative and human resources roles that have sharpened her ability to assess candidates effectively and drive business success. Deborah also holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology where she learned the wonders of psychometric testing and the applicability with recruiting.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Deborah now lives in Brazil’s Silicon Valley-an island named Florianópolis-where she enjoys the balance of a thriving tech scene and beautiful coastal landscapes.

A theme and water park enthusiast, outside of work she enjoys reading, baking, and playing board games. You might also find her dancing to Taylor Swift or Disney songs with her one-year-old daughter, Moana.
